Formulation
Lyophilized from filtered PBS pH 7.4, supplemented with 363 mM NaCl, 5% sucrose, and 1 mM DTT.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute at 500 μg/mL in sterile deionized water.
Activity validation
Measured by its ability to interact with fixed Jurkat cells at a concentration of 2.0 or 25 μg/mL.
Gal-3 demonstrates dose-dependent binding to fixed K562 cells within the 0-20 μg/mL concentration range, as determined by flow cytometry.
Gal-3 causes agglutination of fixed K562 cells at higher concentrations.
Gal-3 induces early-stage (CD69) and mid-stage (IL-2) activation of Jurkat cells at 25 μg/mL.
